Shaughnessy Hoefer - Founder / Editor / Journalist / Creative Director | Tulsa, OK
Shaughnessy is the founder and editor of PopRox. She is incredibly passionate about the intersections between music and culture. She holds an Associates in Applied Science degree in Music Business from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. She has been a musician for her whole life, but found a love for creative direction, PR, and marketing in the music industry. She loves creating with all kinds of people and bringing life to creative visions; whether it be photoshoots, integrated marketing plans, creative direction, or anything else, it is her cup of tea.
Ania Hoefer - Lead Photographer | Tulsa, OK
Ania is a concert and portrait photographer whose life was impacted by live music. She loves being able to capture beautiful moments on and off stage with musicians. When she’s not snapping pictures, you can find her working at her daycare job or hanging out with her dog. Her favorite artists at the moment are Noah Kahan, One Direction, and Greta Van Fleet. Paulina Vazquez - Journalist | Oklahoma City, OK
Paulina is a writer with a deep interest in the emotional and psychological effects of intentional music listening. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music Business from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. Paulina’s work often explores the connections between sound, identity, and human behavior - examining how artists influence and reflect the inner lives of their listeners. When she’s not writing or analyzing music culture, she’s in her garden tending to flowers and vegetables or spending time with her dogs.
